MANUFACTURING PROCESSThe initial phase includes large pieces of different types of raw marbles collected by the artisans from the belly of Rajasthan, inlcuding the shiny white marble which goes by the traditional name of Banswara marble among the artists, and the oceanic range of the darker-coloured marbles fondly called as the Kayampura marble famous for it's rich texture, all born from high pressures and temperatures and being cut into smaller pieces to get into desirable shapes to create the product that the artisans require. After the initial process is done, the marble pieces are given the final finishes to their intermediate forms and added to the raw pieces of Mango wood with thelp of a strong chemical. In the final stage, the polishing is done to these wonderful pieces to make it appear the best to the spectator.

The Dancing Ganesh Diya was packed well and arrived in time. It looks exactly as shown in the picture with good finish and the bells were all intact . We only hope that the ring connecting the chain to the diya and the chain itself can carry the weight of the heavier diya long term as it is thin. However we are happy with the purchase.
