Overflowing happy energy, room filled with loved ones, family laughs and snack bites with tea ~ the starter pack to the best kind of home bonding time. Just like it’s landscapes, people, languages and people, India is home to a very old and prominent snacking culture; grandmothers still store freshly made dry snacks, pickles and nuts among others in old glass vessels to keep them fresh and/or crispy over long periods of time; storage jars, being reused for centuries in Indian families, changing drastically in material, size and usage over the millennia.
Inspired from this country’s extremely popular love for snacking, Indian craftsmen have handcrafted ‘The Goodie-Jar Tribe’; a collection of minimal jars with glass bodies and pine wood lids and trays of recycled wood, brought to life with hand-embellished tribal details. The unique use of handmade brass Dhokra figurines and detailed Warli hand paintings makes each of these products an art piece that holds together two of the oldest indigenous material crafts of this country in a very aesthetic and functional way. This range of products is a fable of beautiful blends, handcrafted with love, that brings a fragment of indian tribal traditions to your table top and kitchen spaces, perfecting your much looked forward to snacking-bonding time with loved ones.
